Web development is one of the most popular services we offer here at Weqollab. With websites becoming a must-have for businesses of all sizes, it’s always in demand.
Our work has lead us to collaborate with clients in different industries and structures. One thing many of our clients seem to appreciate a lot is how the entire team operates and communicates throughout the collaboration.
Web development is admittedly one of the most challenging projects among our offerings. It’s all hands on deck — from content magicians, UI/UX experts designers to web developers and the QA team.
How do we make it work? Here are the steps we go through to help secure outstanding client experience and output that makes us proud.
Briefing session(s)
We will schedule a meeting with clients for a brief on the general direction, purpose and “vibe” of the website. It’s a big project so we have to do things right. Everything you need to be there MUST be there.
This is the phase where you transfer all the information we need to build the website that you want and need.
A fresh new canvas!
Weqollab has a well-established and foolproof workflow that starts right about here. Once the briefing is out of the way, the content team will begin crafting the content, a solid base and a plan that will help the clients as well as the design team.
The websites we design and build are useful and efficient in relaying information. Our content team plays a big role in the process. Everything has to make sense and the website must communicate a strong message.
Walkthrough with you
It is important to get a walkthrough with the client once the wireframes are done. Wireframes don’t have a lot of design elements yet but they show the relationships between the bits and pieces of information provided. This walkthrough is to make sure everything is correct and in their right place.
Designers Assemble!
Onto the design team! The amazing creatives at Weqollab work hand-in-hand with the content team to visualise the output before web development. The best thing during this process is the brainstorming between the two teams to create unique designs.
Weqollab clients get a few design options so they can choose one that looks good and fits their mission. We can also mix and match. We aim to please!
Do you like what you see?
The full design is now readied for client feedback. We will forward the website design to the client to give them the look and feel of the website. This is the time to make changes if necessary. This can be done through another meeting or through our platform with simple, click-and-type functionality for providing feedback.
If there are any changes needed, we go back to the designers and follow through. Once approved, we move on to the next step.
Pass it over to the devs
The brief with the devs is another crucial part of the website design and development. At this point, we need to be clear about what’s possible, the latest tech out there and what will make the site a standout performer. Then the devs will start doing their magic AKA hours of coding making the design and vision work. Our heroes deserve their capes.
One… two… testing. Is it working?
Now that we have a working website, it is time to test its abilities. Rounds of website testing are done making sure that everything is working accordingly. It’s here we polish every nook and cranny. This is also the time we have the client take a look so they can run through the website.
This is done in secret or in a sandbox-type environment. It’s already a fully-developed, fully-functional website but it can only be accessed through a secret URL at this point.
Ready, set, launch!
Once we have vacuumed every page and cleaned every surface for bugs and the client is happy, we will process preparing to get the website live, jump on a meeting for the walkthrough, and hand it over to them.

BONUS: The Weqollab Care
But wait there’s more! If you think that’s it, it isn’t! Weqollab takes pride in the aftercare we provide to our clients. We want to make sure things go well once the website is live. All our web development work comes with months of support to make sure you’re new website impresses every visitor. After all, we consider every output a masterpiece.
Developing a website is not an easy task but my fellow collaborators here at Weqollab make it look and feel so easy.
Over the years, Weqollab has created a business that wins new clients mainly via word-of-mouth. We have developed countless websites for different industries and each one is a different experience. But one thing is for sure at the end of every project… happy and satisfied clients!
